Benchmark Appoints Brent Haste Director of Corporate Accounting

HOUSTON, TX, August 21, 2008. Benchmark Hospitality International has announced the appointment of Brent Haste as director of corporate accounting for the leading hospitality management company. Dennis Blyshak, chief financial officer, made the announcement.

“It is a pleasure to welcome Brent to Benchmark’s Home Office and to announce his promotion,” said Mr. Blyshak. “He has been with our company since 2005 and has proven himself to be an exemplary accounting professional.”

Brent Haste was previously the controller for The Founders Inn & Spa, Benchmark Hospitality’s property located in Virginia Beach, Virginia. He came to Benchmark having served as controller for the Wyndham Burlington Hotel in Vermont. He has also held the title of assistant controller for the Franklin Plaza Hotel, in Center City, Philadelphia, and served in the same position at Carmel Valley Ranch, a Wyndham Luxury Resort in Carmel, California.

Earlier in his career, Mr. Haste held a variety of positions of increasing responsibility for Wyndham Hotels and Resorts, gaining important operational and financial accounting experience at hotels throughout the country.

Brent Haste is a graduate of Cuyamaca College of El Cajon, California, and Eastern Michigan University of Ypsilanti, Michigan. He and his family are relocating to The Woodlands.
