DALLAS, TX, November 17, 2008. Rosewood Hotels & Resorts, the premier manager of ultra-luxury properties throughout the world, is pleased to announce the promotion of Marcie Lieberman to Senior Corporate Director of Operations of Rosewood Hotels & Resorts. After three years as Managing Director of Inn of the Anasazi, Lieberman will be joining Rosewood’s corporate team in Dallas. In her new position, Lieberman will provide oversight and guidance to Rosewood properties around the world by developing and maintaining a liaison role with property Managing Directors. She will ensure each property’s compliance with quality and operations standards while continuing to expand the Rosewood Hotels & Resorts guest experience through enhanced operations.

A Rosewood veteran, Lieberman joined Rosewood Hotels & Resorts in April 2001 as the Executive Assistant Manager of Rooms at Carenage Bay, in Canouan, and then left to become Resort Manager of Jumby Bay, A Rosewood Resort where she assisted with the renovation of the private island hideaway off the coast of Antigua. Making a move to the Northeast, she spent three years at The Carlyle, A Rosewood Hotel in New York as Hotel Manager.

Arriving in Santa Fe in 2005 as Managing Director of Inn of the Anasazi, A Rosewood Hotel Lieberman has transformed the internationally acclaimed Inn into one of New Mexico’s most highly acclaimed culinary destinations. Taking over for Lieberman as Managing Director of Inn of the Anasazi, A Rosewood Hotel, Andrea Gates, current Hotel Manager of The Carlyle, A Rosewood Hotel in New York, will oversee all areas of the hotel including the Inn’s celebrated Food & Beverage program. Gates began her career with Rosewood in 1992 at the company’s flagship property, Rosewood Mansion on Turtle Creek in Dallas, Texas as Rooms Division Director. Following the same path as Lieberman, Gates moved to New York to become Hotel Manager at The Carlyle, A Rosewood Hotel in 2006. She has also been an integral part of Rosewood Hotels & Resorts as the company's prestigious portfolio has grown over the past years. She assisted in opening the Central Reservations Office and established the new office standards, training program and familiarization tours. Additionally, Gates was a member of Rosewood's Corporate Training Team, during which she trained and implemented standards and procedures at new opened properties.

“We look forward to welcoming Marcie to Rosewood’s corporate team and wish Andrea great success at Inn of the Anasazi,” said Robert Boulogne, Chief Operating Officer of Rosewood Hotels & Resorts. “Both Andrea and Marcie have a strong understanding of our philosophy and will play an intricate role within Rosewood that will help us to continue our growth into the next century.”
